BRUTAL FRUIT ROUGE COMPETITION RULES

1. Introduction
1.1. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by The South African Breweries (Pty) Limited (“Promoter”) and is open to all persons of 18 years or older and resident in South Africa, except for (a) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, (b) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of any suppliers of any goods or services to the Promoter in respect of this Competition, or (c) directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter’s advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and participating outlet owners and staff.
1.2. The rules set out in this document constitute the rules which will govern the Competition (“Competition Rules”).
1.3. Participation in the Competition by all entrants (“Participants”) constitutes acceptance of these Competition Rules.
2. Competition Period
This Competition will run from 16 August 2021 until 31 August 2021, both dates inclusive, or until the Promoter provides a public notice that the Competition has ended, whichever is earlier (“Competition Period”). Entries will only be accepted during the Competition Period.
3. Competition Entry Process
3.1. This Competition will take place on Facebook. In order to enter the Competition, a Participant must sign up on Brutal Fruit’s Facebook page and provide the required information. Entry is only valid through this medium. A Participant can only enter the Competition once.
3.2. Participants are liable for their own data and voice charges in respect of the Competition participation as well as any verification process, if applicable.
3.3. Entry into the Competition as well as the availability of the Prize shall be subject to any regulations issued in terms of Section 27(2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (“Regulations”).
4. Description of Prize
4.1. The prize for this Competition is a voucher to be redeemed for a six-pack of 275ml Brutal Fruit Strawberry Rouge spritzer at participating Shoprite Checkers liquor stores (the “Prize”).
4.2. No person may win more than one Prize in this Competition.
4.3. There are one thousand Prizes available to be won during Competition Period and each Prize has a value of approximately R75.00.
4.4. No Prize, in whole or in part, can be transferred to any other person or exchanged for an alternate prize or for its cash value. A winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person.
4.5. The Promoter will send the Prize to the winners electronically.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. The winners will be selected by a random draw process. The draw will take place on or before 3 September 2021 and will consist of all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
5.2. The winners will be notified by the Promoter via email on or before 6 September 2021. If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner, he/she will be disqualified and a substitute winner may at the discretion of the Promoter be selected, using the same winner selection process.
6. Winner Verification
6.1. Winners must be over the age of 18 (eighteen) years old and will be verified as complying with the Participant eligibility criteria set out in Competition Rule 1.1. Winners may be asked to provide a copy of their identity document/passport/driver’s license/proof of residential address in order to receive the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct the validation and verification process via automated means and/or any other means that the Promoter may deem necessary and by participating in the Competition, all Participants consent to the appropriate validation and verification measures that the Promoter may implement from time to time.
6.2. The Prize will only be awarded after successful verification of the winners. Failing successful verification of any winner, a substitute winner may be selected at the discretion of the Promoter.
6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any winners to verify their eligibility and/or the validity of the winners’ entries. The Promoter may disqualify any winners if any fraud or cheating or related activity is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of entries or otherwise falsifying data. All entries, participants or travel partners determined by the Promoter or their agents to be invalid or ineligible will forfeit all rights to any Prize and will not be compensated in any way.
7. Prize Forfeiture
7.1. Winners must communicate their full details to the Promoter or its agent as requested by the Promoter or its agent. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
7.2. If a winner is unable to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) the Prize then the entire Prize shall be forfeited. There will be no compensation, in any form, including, but not limited to monetary compensation and/or rescheduling, to any party, irrespective of the reason/s for the inability of that winner to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) the Prize.
7.3. Time permitting and subject to the Promoter’s approval, where a Prize is forfeited a substitute winner may be chosen in the same manner as the original winner was chosen.
8. General
8.1. All Participants must comply with the Regulations at all times and any non-compliance with the Regulations will result in automatic disqualification. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Participants to observe and comply with any and all restrictions imposed by the Regulations from time to time. All Participants indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, their respective associated companies (directors, officers and employees) and agents, against any losses or damages arising from a breach of the provisions of the Regulations by such Participants and the Promoter shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable for any transgressions by any Participant in this regard.
8.2. In the event of a dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.3. The timelines stated by the Promoter or its agent must be adhered to. Failing adherence to any timeline, at any stage, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize in its entirety with no compensation to any party by the Promoter.
8.4. Each Participant, by participating in the Competition, acknowledges, agrees and expressly consents to the following:
8.4.1. the Promotor may process the Participant’s personal information, including in the form of names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, during and after the course and scope of the Competition; and
8.4.2. the Promotor may transfer the winning Participant’s personal information, including names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, to the relevant third parties in order to make any required travel, delivery or other arrangements, as may be applicable, during the course and scope of the Competition for utilisation of the Prize,
which processing and transfer shall take place in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 14 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and any other applicable law, and for the purpose of giving effect to the Competition.
8.5. With the exception of Competition Rule 11.5 above, the Promoter will not share any personal information with any third party except where such disclosure is necessary to enable the Promoter to provide, deliver or in any other way give effect to these Competition Rules and/or the Prize, where such disclosure is permitted by law and/or where consent to sharing personal information is obtained from the Participants by the Promoter. The Promoter will comply with the relevant data protection legislation, including POPIA.
8.6. A Participant may, by addressing a request in writing to the deputy information officer of the Promoter
(at lufuno.shinwana@za.ab-inbev.com), request the Promoter to
8.6.1. correct or delete personal information about the Participant in its possession or under its control that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or obtained unlawfully; or
8.6.2. destroy or delete a record of personal information about the Participant that the Promoter is no longer authorised to retain.
8.7. The Promoter may make media announcements or publish the names and/or photographs of the winners without remuneration being made payable to the winners, provided that any such person may expressly elect to decline this by written communication to the Promoter.
8.8. Should the Prize not be available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equal value as determined in the Promoter’s sole discretion and subject to availability. No person will be compensated in any way in this instance by the Promoter.
8.9. The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs, expenses or other liabilities incurred by the winners which are not expressly contemplated as part of the Prize.
8.10. These Competition Rules may be amended by the Promoter on public notice at any time during the Competition Period or thereafter. These Competition Rules will be interpreted by the Promoter only.
8.11. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel this Competition in whole or in part. Any alterations, amendments or cancelations will be interpreted by the Promoter only. In the event of an alteration, amendment and/or cancellation the Promoter will not compensate any individual for any reason whatsoever.
8.12. All Participants and winners indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, their respective associated companies (directors, officers and employees) and agents, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever connected to or arising out of their participation in any way in this Competition or their receipt, participation, ownership and/or use of the Prize. This indemnity is not intended to exclude any liability for any person which cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
8.13. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, corrupted, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending an entry will not be accepted as proof of receipt of such entry. The Promoters shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this Competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted. The Promoter is not responsible for lost, damaged or delayed entries as a result of any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind. No applications from agents, third parties, organized groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions. Any form of network or systems manipulation including but not limited to Botnets, Sim Farms, Trojans, SMS malware may not be used when entering the Competition.
8.14.By participating in the Competition each Participant gives the Promoter consent to market its products and campaigns to Participant, using the details provided by the Participant, which Participants may decline by opting out via the opt out mechanism provided on the communications.

1. Introduction

3.1. In order to enter the Competition, a Participant must purchase a case of Brutal Fruit 300ml cans to share (the “Qualifying Products”) via the official Pick n Pay asap! e-commerce platform (available at https://bottlesapp.co.za/) (the “Platform”).
3.2. The Participant shall then automatically with their purchase of the Qualifying Products on the Platform, be entered into the random draw for the Prize.
3.3. The Promoter does not guarantee availability of the Qualifying Products during the Competition
Period. The Promoter shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable should the stock of the Qualifying Products be depleted prior to a Participant being able to purchase the Qualifying Products.
3.4. Only Participants who reside in Gauteng are allowed to enter the Competition and entries from other provinces will not be accepted.
3.5. Entry is only valid through this medium.

4. Description of Prize
4.1. The prize available to be won for this Competition is an all-expenses paid, clifftop exclusive safari hideaway at Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, scheduled for 23 October 2021 (the “Prize”).
4.2. The winner will be permitted to bring a maximum of 5 additional guest attendees to redeem the Prize. (The winner and the 5 additional guest attendees he/she chooses to join in the Prize shall hereinafter collectively be referred to as the “Attendees”).
4.3. All Attendees must reside in Gauteng in order to qualify for the Prize.
4.4. There will be one Prize to the value of approximately R176,792.00 available to be won during the
Competition Period.
4.5. No Prize, in whole or in part, can be transferred to any other person or exchanged for an alternate prize or for its cash value. A winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person.
4.6. The Promoter will contact the winner of the Prize to make arrangements for the winner to receive the
Prize.
4.7. The Promoter shall pay for all travel and accommodation costs of the Attendees to travel to the local venue or event for the Prize. The Attendees must on request provide the Promoter with a copy of his/her identity document in order for the Promoter to arrange the relevant transport arrangements for the Attendees.
4.8. The Prize and corresponding details will be sent by the Promoter or its nominated agent to the email address of the winner. The Promoter will contact the winner to arrange delivery of the Prize including transportation and accommodation booking details.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. All Participants who have completed the entry process as described in Competition Rule 3 will automatically be entered into the random draw for the Prize. The winner of the Prize will be selected by a random draw process. The random draw will take place on or before 6 October 2021 and will consist of all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
5.2. The winner will be notified by the Promoter via email on or before 8 October 2021. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner, he/she will be disqualified and a substitute winner may at the discretion of the Promoter be selected, using the same winner selection process.

1.2. This Competition is open to: (i) all persons of 18 years or older and; (ii) resident in the Western Cape, except for (a) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, (b) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of any suppliers of any goods or services to the Promoter in respect of this Competition, or (c) directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter’s advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and participating outlet owners and staff.

Period. The Promoter shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable should the stock of the Qualifying
Products be depleted prior to a Participant being able to purchase the Qualifying Products.
3.3. Only Participants who reside in the Western Cape are allowed to enter the Competition and entries from other provinces will not be accepted.
3.4. Once the Participants have successfully purchased a Qualifying Product, they shall automatically be entered into the Competition and will stand a chance to win the Prize (as defined in Competition Rule
4.1 below).

4. Description of Prize
4.1. The prize for this Competition is a one-night luxury experience to the Tsala Tree Top Lodge in
Plettenberg Bay scheduled for 30 October 2021 (the “Prize”).
4.2. The winner will be permitted to bring a maximum of 5 additional guest attendees to redeem the Prize. (The winner and the 5 additional guest attendees he/she chooses to join in the Prize shall hereinafter collectively be referred to as the “Attendees”).
4.3. All Attendees must reside in the Western Cape in order to qualify for the Prize.
4.4. Subject to Competition Rule 4.5 below, the Promoter shall pay for all travel and accommodation costs of the Attendees to the Tsala Tree Top Lodge in Plettenberg Bay.
4.5. The winner must arrange transportation to and from Cape Town International Airport at his/her own costs on the dates of travel to and from Plettenberg Bay.
4.6. The winner must upon request (i) provide the Promoter with a copy of each Attendees’ name and surname, (ii) each Attendees’ identity document to enable the Promoter to arrange the relevant transportation and accommodation; and (iii) provide the Promoter with his/her necessary contact
details.
4.7. No person may win more than one Prize in this Competition.
4.8. There is one Prize available to be won during the Competition Period and the value of the Prize is approximately R210,638.00 (two hundred and ten thousand six hundred and thirty-eight Rand).
4.9. No Prize, in whole or in part, can be transferred to any other person or exchanged for an alternate prize or for its cash value. A winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person.
4.10. The Prize and corresponding details will be sent by the Promoter or its nominated agent to the email address of the winner. The Promoter will contact the winner to arrange delivery of the Prize including transportation and accommodation booking details.

5.2. OneCart will provide the Promoter with the details of the winner.

6. Winner Verification

6.2. The Prize will only be awarded after successful verification of the winner. Failing successful verification of any winner, a substitute winner may be selected at the discretion of the Promoter.

The Promoter may disqualify any winner if any fraud or cheating or related activity is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of entry or otherwise falsifying data. 7. Prize Forfeiture
7.1. The winner must communicate his/her full details to the Promoter or its agent as requested by the
Promoter or its agent. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
7.2. If a winner is unable to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) the Prize then the entire Prize shall be forfeited. There will be no compensation, in any form, including, but not limited to monetary compensation and/or rescheduling, to any party, irrespective of the reason/s for the inability of that winner to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) the Prize.
7.3. Time permitting and subject to the Promoter’s approval, where a Prize is forfeited a substitute winner may be chosen in the same manner as the original winner was chosen.
8. General
8.1. All Participants must comply with the Regulations at all times and any non-compliance with the Regulations will result in automatic disqualification. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Participants to observe and comply with any and all restrictions imposed by the Regulations from time to time. All
Participants indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, their respective associated companies (directors, officers and employees) and agents, against any losses or damages arising from a breach of the provisions of the Regulations by such Participants and the Promoter shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable for any transgressions by any Participant in this regard.
8.2. In the event of a dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.3. The timelines stated by the Promoter or its agent must be adhered to. Failing adherence to any timeline, at any stage, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize in its entirety with no compensation to any party by the Promoter.
8.4. Each Participant, by participating in the Competition, acknowledges, agrees and expressly consents to the following:
8.4.1. the Promotor may process the Participant’s personal information, including in the form of names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, during and after the course and scope of the Competition; and
8.4.2. the Promotor may transfer the winning Participant’s personal information, including names,
telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, to the relevant third parties in order to make any required travel, delivery or other arrangements, as may be applicable, during the course and scope of the Competition for utilisation of the Prize,
which processing and transfer shall take place in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 14 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and any other applicable law, and for the purpose of giving effect to the Competition.
8.5. With the exception of Competition Rule 8.4 above, the Promoter will not share any personal information with any third party except where such disclosure is necessary to enable the Promoter to provide, deliver or in any other way give effect to these Competition Rules and/or the Prize, where such disclosure is permitted by law and/or where consent to sharing personal information is obtained from the Participants by the Promoter. The Promoter will comply with the relevant data protection legislation, including POPIA.
8.6. A Participant may, by addressing a request in writing to the deputy information officer of the Promoter (at lufuno.shinwana@za.ab-inbev.com), request the Promoter to-
8.6.1. correct or delete personal information about the Participant in its possession or under its control that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or obtained unlawfully; or
8.6.2. destroy or delete a record of personal information about the Participant that the Promoter is
no longer authorised to retain.
8.7. The Promoter may make media announcements or publish the names and/or photographs of the winner without remuneration being made payable to the winner, provided that any such person may expressly elect to decline this by written communication to the Promoter.
8.8. Should the Prize not be available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equal value as determined in the Promoter’s sole discretion and subject to availability. No person will be compensated in any way in this instance by the Promoter.
8.9. The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs, expenses or other liabilities incurred by the winner which are not expressly contemplated as part of the Prize.
8.10. These Competition Rules may be amended by the Promoter on public notice at any time during the
Competition Period or thereafter. These Competition Rules will be interpreted by the Promoter only.
8.11. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel this Competition in whole or in part. Any alterations, amendments or cancelations will be interpreted by the Promoter only. 1. Introduction
1.1. This promotional competition (the “Competition”) is run by the South African Breweries (Pty) Limited (the “Promoter”) in association with Zulzi (Pty) Ltd (“Zulzi”) and is available on the official Zulzi website or platform available at https://zulzi.com/ which can also be downloaded on iOS or Android devices (“Zulzi Platform”).
1.2. The Competition and is open to: (i) all persons of 18 years or older; and (ii) resident in KwaZulu-Natal,
South Africa, except for (a) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, (b) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of any suppliers of any goods or services to the Promoter in respect of this Competition, or (c) directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter’s advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and participating outlet owners and staff.

2. Competition Period

3. Competition Entry Process
3.1. In order to enter the Competition, a Participant must purchase a case of 24 (twenty four) Brutal Fruit
300ml cans to share (the “Qualifying Products”) via the Zulzi Platform.
3.2. The Participant shall then automatically with their purchase of the Qualifying Products on the Zulzi
Platform, be entered into the random draw for the Prize.
3.3. The Promoter does not guarantee availability of the Qualifying Products during the Competition Period. The Promoter shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable should the stock of the Qualifying
Products be depleted prior to a Participant being able to purchase the Qualifying Products.
3.4. Only Participants who reside in KwaZulu-Natal are allowed to enter the Competition and entries from other provinces will not be accepted.
3.5. Entry is only valid through this medium.

4. Description of Prize
4.1. The prize for this Competition is an all expenses paid, one-night luxury hotel experience at the Presidential Suite of the Oyster Box Hotel in Umhlanga Rocks, Durban, scheduled for 16 October 2021 (the “Prize”).
4.2. The winner will be permitted to bring a maximum of 5 additional guest attendees to redeem the Prize. (The winner and the 5 additional guest attendees he/she chooses to join in the Prize shall hereinafter collectively be referred to as the “Attendees”).
4.3. All Attendees must reside in KwaZulu-Natal in order to qualify for the Prize.
4.4. The Promoter will pay for the Attendees to travel to the Oyster Box Hotel. The Attendees must on request provide the Promoter with a copy of his/her identity document in order for the Promoter to make the relevant transport arrangements for the Attendees.
4.5. There is one Prize available to be won during Competition Period, with a value of approximately
R219,409.00.
4.6. No Prize, in whole or in part, can be transferred to any other person or exchanged for an alternate prize or for its cash value. A winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person.
4.7. The Prize and corresponding details will be sent by the Promoter or its nominated agent to the email address of the winner. The Promoter will contact the winner to arrange delivery.

4.2. No person may win more than 1 (one) Prize in this Competition.
4.3. No Prize, in whole or in part, can be transferred to any other person or exchanged for an alternate prize or for its cash value. A winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person.
4.4. The Promoter does not guarantee food stock availability of the Prize. The availability of the Prize shall at all times be subject to stock availability, it being recorded that the Promoter shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable should the available stock be depleted prior to a winner being able to collect their prize nor shall the Promoter be liable to provide prizes or goods in substitution for prizes which are not available due to stock being depleted.

5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. The winners will be selected by a random draw process. There will be a total of six weekly random draws. Each draw will take place on or after every Friday during the Competition Period and will consist of all valid entries received within the week prior to the respective random draw.
5.2. The winners will be notified by the Promoter via direct message on the relevant social media platform on which the winners entered on each Friday during the Competition Period. If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner, he/she will be disqualified and a substitute winner may at the discretion of the Promoter be selected, using the same winner selection process.
6. Winner Verification
6.1. Winners must be over the age of 18 (eighteen) years old and will be verified as complying with the Participant eligibility criteria set out in Competition Rule 1.1. 4.1.1. for Participants based in Gauteng – a chance to win one of 40 double passes to the Brutal Fruit
Twilight Picnic taking place on the 5th of December 2021 at Kleine Rijke in Hartbeespoort which
will include food, drinks and entertainment (“Prize 1”); and
4.1.2. for Participants based outside of Gauteng – one box of four Brutal Fruit branded glassware
(“Prize 2”),
(together, the “Prize(s)”).
4.2. Prize 1 winners and the individual with whom a winner chooses to share Prize 1 with, must be 18 and
older and must provide proof of identification, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must show
official proof that they have been vaccinated, which proof can be obtained at
https://vaccine.certificate.health.gov.za, Should the winners of Prize 1 and their chosen individuals not
be able to provide such confirmation, they will be required to undergo a COVID-19 test at the venue
before entering the picnic venue and will be allowed entry should the test result be negative. Should
the result of the test not be negative, entry to the picnic will be denied without liability to the
Promoter. The costs of such tests will be covered by the Promoter.
4.3. Prize 1 winners are responsible for all cost of travel to and from the local venue or event.
4.4. No person may win more than one Prize in this Competition.
4.5. There are a total of 140 Prizes available to be won during Competition Period.
4.6. The 140 Prizes referred to in Competition Rule 4.5 will be allocated as follows:
4.6.1. Prize 1 will consist of 40 double passes to be won for eligible Competition entries (valued at
approximately R5000 each); and

5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. The winners will be selected by a random draw process. The draw will consist of all valid entries
received during the Competition Period and will take place on the following dates:
5.1.1. Prize 1 draw to take place on 24 November 2021; and
5.1.2. Prize 2 draw to take place on 30 November 2021.
5.2. The winners for Prize 1 will be notified by the Promoter via email and phone on or before 26 November
2021. The winners for Prize 2 will be notified by the Promoter via email and phone on or before 8
December 2021. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winners, he/she will be disqualified and a
substitute winner may at the discretion of the Promoter be selected, using the same winner selection
process.
5.3. Prize 1 will be sent as an email confirmation to the email address that the Participant entered the
competition with, and the winners will be included on the guestlist.
5.4. Prize 2 will be delivered by the Promoter or its nominated agent to the address winners within the
Republic of South Africa between 13 December 2021 and 24 January 2022. The Promoter will contact
the winners to arrange delivery.
6. Winner Verification
6.1. The winners of Prize 1 and their guests must be over the age of 18 (eighteen) years old and must
provide proof of identification. The winners of Prize 1 and their guests and winners of Prize 2 will be
verified as complying with the Participant eligibility criteria set out in Competition Rule 1.1. The
winners may be asked to provide a copy of their identity document/passport/driver’s license/proof of
residential address in order to receive the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct the
validation and verification process via automated means and/or any other means that the Promoter
may deem necessary and by participating in the Competition, all Participants consent to the
appropriate validation and verification measures that the Promoter may implement from time to time.
6.2. The Prizes will only be awarded after successful verification of the winners. Failing successful
verification of any winner, a substitute winner may be selected at the discretion of the Promoter.

7. Prize Forfeiture
7.1. The winners must communicate their full details to the Promoter or its agent as requested by the
Promoter or its agent. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
7.2. If a winner is unable to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) the Prize then the entire Prize shall be
forfeited. There will be no compensation, in any form, including, but not limited to monetary
compensation and/or rescheduling, to any party, irrespective of the reason/s for the inability of that
winner to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) the Prize.
7.3. Time permitting and subject to the Promoter’s approval, where a Prize is forfeited a substitute winner
may be chosen in the same manner as the original winner was chosen.
8. General
8.1. All Participants must comply with the Regulations at all times and any non-compliance with the
Regulations will result in automatic disqualification. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Participants
to observe and comply with any and all restrictions imposed by the Regulations from time to time. All
Participants indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, their respective associated companies
(directors, officers and employees) and agents, against any losses or damages arising from a breach of
the provisions of the Regulations by such Participants and the Promoter shall not in any manner
whatsoever be liable for any transgressions by any Participant in this regard.
8.2. In the event of a dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be
entered into.
8.3. The timelines stated by the Promoter or its agent must be adhered to. Failing adherence to any
timeline, at any stage, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize in its entirety with no
compensation to any party by the Promoter.
8.4. Each Participant, by participating in the Competition, acknowledges, agrees and expressly consents to
the following:
8.4.1. the Promoter may process the Participant’s personal information, including in the form of
names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, during and after the
course and scope of the Competition; and
8.4.2. the Promoter may transfer the winning Participant’s personal information, including names,
telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, to the relevant third parties in
order to make any required travel, delivery or other arrangements, as may be applicable,
during the course and scope of the Competition for utilisation of the Prize,
which processing and transfer shall take place in accordance with the provisions of the Protection
of Personal Information Act 14 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and any other applicable law, and for the purpose
of giving effect to the Competition.
8.5. With the exception of Competition Rule 8.4 above, the Promoter will not share any personal
information with any third party except where such disclosure is necessary to enable the Promoter to
provide, deliver or in any other way give effect to these Competition Rules and/or the Prize, where
such disclosure is permitted by law and/or where consent to sharing personal information is obtained
from the Participants by the Promoter. The Promoter will comply with the relevant data protection
legislation, including POPIA.
8.6. A Participant may, by addressing a request in writing to the deputy information officer of the Promoter
(at lufuno.shinwana@za.ab-inbev.com), request the Promoter to-
8.6.1. correct or delete personal information about the Participant in its possession or under its
control that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or
obtained unlawfully; or
8.6.2. destroy or delete a record of personal information about the Participant that the Promoter is
no longer authorised to retain.
8.7. The Promoter may make media announcements or publish the names and/or photographs of the
winners without remuneration being made payable to the winners, provided that any such person may
expressly elect to decline this by written communication to the Promoter.
8.8. Should the Prize not be available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize,
the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equal value as determined in
the Promoter’s sole discretion and subject to availability. No person will be compensated in any way
in this instance by the Promoter.
8.9. The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs, expenses or other liabilities incurred by the winner
which are not expressly contemplated as part of the Prize.
8.10. These Competition Rules may be amended by the Promoter on public notice at any time during the

1.1. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by The South African Breweries (Pty) Limited (“Promoter”) and is open to all persons of 18 years or older and resident in South Africa, except for (a) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, (b) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of any suppliers of any goods or services to the Promoter in respect of this Competition, or (c) directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter’s advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and participating outlet owners and staff.

2. Competition Period

3.2. By responding to the Competition post published on the relevant Competition Date, the Participant will be entered into the relevant weeks’ random draw which will take place in accordance with Rule 5.

4.3. The winner is responsible for the cost of travel to the local venue or event.

7.1. Winners must communicate their full details to the Promoter or its agent as requested by the Promoter
or its agent. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
7.2. If a winner is unable to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) the Prize then the entire Prize shall be

8.2. In the event of a dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be

8.3. The timelines stated by the Promoter or its agent must be adhered to. Failing adherence to any
timeline, at any stage, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize in its entirety with no
compensation to any party by the Promoter.
8.4. Each Participant, by participating in the Competition, acknowledges, agrees and expressly consents to
the following:
8.4.1. the Promoter may process the Participant’s personal information, including in the form of
names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, during and after the
course and scope of the Competition; and
8.4.2. the Promoter may transfer the winning Participant’s personal information, including names,
telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, to the relevant third parties in
order to make any required travel, delivery or other arrangements, as may be applicable,

8.6.1. correct or delete personal information about the Participant in its possession or under its
control that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or

no longer authorised to retain.
8.7. The Promoter may make media announcements or publish the names and/or photographs of the
winners without remuneration being made payable to the winners, provided that any such person may
expressly elect to decline this by written communication to the Promoter.
8.8. Should the Prize not be available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize,
the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equal value as determined in
the Promoter’s sole discretion and subject to availability. No person will be compensated in any way

T1.1.This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by The South African Breweries (Pty) Ltd (“Promoter”) and is open to all persons of 18 years or older and resident in South Africa, except for (a) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, (b) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of any suppliers of any goods or services to the Promoter in respect of this Competition, or (c) directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter’s an advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and participating outlet owners and staff.
1.2. The rules set out in this document constitute the rules which will govern the Competition (“Competition Rules”)

2. Competition Period
Competition PeriodThis Competition will run from 16 February 2022 until 28 March 2022, both dates inclusive, or until the Promoter provides a public notice that the Competition has ended, whichever is earlier (“Competition Period”). Entries will only be accepted during the Competition Period.
3. Competition Entry Process
3.1. In order to enter the Competition, a Participant must purchase at least one six-pack of Brutal Fruit Spritzer consisting of six 80ml bottles (the “Qualifying Products”) from any of the participating outlets specified in Annexure A hereto (the “Participating Outlets”)
3.2. The Participant must then (i) scan the QR code found in-store at any of the Participating Outlets; (ii) insert the following details when prompted to do so: (a) name; (b) surname; (c) cell phone number; (d) email address; and (e) the province in which the Participant resides; and (iii) upload their till slip by taking a photo of the till slip and following the instructions for upload.
3.3. Entry is only valid through this medium.
3.4. Entry into the Competition, as well as the availability of the Prizes, shall be subject to any regulations issued in terms of Section 27(2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (“Regulations”).

4. Description of Prize
4.1. The prize for this Competition is one bottle of ‘You Belong’ fragrance by Brutal Fruit (the “Prize(s)”)
4.2. No person may win more than one Prize in this Competition.
4.3. There are 730 Prizes available to be won during the Competition Period and each Prize has a value of approximately R500.00, with a total value of approximately R365 000 for all Prizes.
4.4. No Prize, in whole or in part, can be transferred to any other person or exchanged for an alternate prize or for its cash value. A winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person
4.5. The Prize will be delivered by the Promoter or its nominated agent to the respective addresses of winners within the Republic of South Africa by 29 April 2022. The Promoter will contact the winners to arrange delivery.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. The winners will be selected randomly via a random draw using the Promoter’s ‘Pick a Winner’ system by 8 April 2022 and will consist of all valid entries received during the Competition Period
5.2. The winners will be notified by the Promoter via SMS on or before 22 April 2022. If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner, he/she will be disqualified and a substitute winner may at the discretion of the Promoter be selected, using the same winner selection process.
6. Winner Verification
6.1. Winners must be over the age of 18 (eighteen) years old and will be verified as complying with the Participant eligibility criteria set out in Competition Rule 1.1. Winners may be asked to provide a copy of their identity document/passport/driver’s license/proof of residential address in order to receive the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct the validation and verification process via automated means and/or any other means that the Promoter may deem necessary and by participating in the Competition, all Participants consent to the appropriate validation and verification measures that the Promoter may implement from time to time.
6.2. The Prize will only be awarded after successful verification of the winners. Failing successful verification of any winner, a substitute winner may be selected at the discretion of the Promoter

8.12. 2. Competition Period

6.Winner Verification
6.1.Each Participant must be over the age of 18 years old and must comply with the Participant eligibility criteria set out in Competition Rule1.1and the requirements in these Competition Rules, which may be verified by or on behalf of the Promoter. 7.Prize Forfeiture
7.1.The winner and/or all Participants must communicate their full details to the Promoter or its agent as requested by the Promoter or its agent. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
7.2.If the winner is unable to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) the Prize then the entire Prize shall be forfeited. There will be no compensation, in any form, including, but not limited to monetary compensation and/or rescheduling, to any party, irrespective of the reason/s for the inability of that winner to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) thePrize.
7.3.Time permitting and subject to the Promoter’s approval, where the Prize is forfeited a substitute winner may be chosen in the same manner as the original winner was chosen.
8.General
8.1.All Participants must comply with the Regulations at all times, and any non-compliance with theRegulations will result in automatic disqualification. This Competition will run from 26 July 2022 until 5 September 2022, both dates inclusive, or until the Promoter provides a public notice that the Competition has ended, whichever is earlier (“Competition Period”). Entries will only be accepted during the Competition Period.
3. Competition Entry Process 3.1. The Competition will have four different entry mechanisms (each a “Category”), and each Category will have a different number of Prizes (as detailed in Competition Rule 4.1 below) that can be won, as further detailed below: 3.1.1. Category 1: Entry via purchasing Qualifying Products at Tops Outlets (“Category 1”): In order to enter the Competition in Category 1, each Participant must complete the following steps:
3.1.1.1. purchase 2 x 6 packs of any Brutal Fruit Spritzer 275ml, 300ml or 500ml (the “Qualifying Products”), to be enjoyed responsibly, at any participating Tops outlet within South Africa, as set out in Annexure A (“Tops Outlets”);
3.1.1.2. scan the QR code available at the point of sale in the Tops Outlets;
3.1.1.3.provide the following details on the microsite to which the Participant will be redirected(available atwww.brutalfruit.co.za)upon scanning the QR code(the “Promoter’s Site”): (i) name;(ii) surname; (iii) date of birth; (iv)cell phone number; and (v) an explanation on what occasions they would prefer to drink Brutal Fruit; and
3.1.1.4.upload a photo of the till slip pertaining to the Participant’s purchase of the Qualifying Products to the Promoter’s Site by following the relevant prompts.
3.1.2.Category 2: Entry via purchasing Qualifying Products at Shoprite Outlets(“Category 2”):In order to enter the Competition in Category2, each Participant must complete the following steps:
3.1.2.1.purchase 2 x 6 packs of any Brutal Fruit Spritzer 275ml, 300ml or 500ml(the“Qualifying Products”),to been joyed responsibly, at any participating Shoprite outlet within South Africa, asset out in Annexure A (“Shoprite Outlets”);
3.1.2.2.scan the QR code available at the point of sale in the Shoprite Outlets;
3.1.2.3.provide the following details on the Promoter’s Site to which theParticipant will be redirected(available atwww.brutalfruit.co.za) upon scanning the QR code: (i) name;
(ii)surname; (iii) date of birth; (iv) cell phone number; and(v) an explanation on what occasions they would prefer to drink Brutal Fruit; and
3.1.2.4.upload a photo of the till slip pertaining to the Participant’s purchase of the Qualifying Products to the Promoter’s Site by following the relevant prompts.
3.1.3.Category 3: Entry via purchasingQualifyingProducts at CheckersOutlets(“Category 3”):In order to enter the Competition in Category 3, eachParticipant must complete the following steps:
3.1.3.1.purchase2 x 6 packs of any Brutal Fruit Spitzer 275ml, 300ml or 500ml(the“Qualifying Products”),to be enjoyed responsibly, at any participating Checkers outlet within South Africa, asset out in Annexure A(“Checkers Outlets”);
3.1.3.2.scan the QR code available at the point of sale in theCheckersOutlets;
3.1.3.3.provide the following details on the Promoter’s Website to which theParticipant will be redirected(available atwww.brutalfruit.co.za) upon scanning the QR code: (i) name;
(ii)surname; (iii) date of birth; (iv) cell phone number; and(v) an explanation on what occasions they would prefer to drink Brutal Fruit; and
3.1.3.4.upload a photo of the till slip pertaining to their purchase of the Qualifying Products to the Promoter’s Site by following the relevant prompts.
3.1.4.Category 4: Entry via purchasing Qualifying Products at Pick n PayOutlets(“Category 4”).In order to enter the Competition in Category4, eachParticipant must purchase 2 x 6 packs of any Brutal Fruit Spitzer 275ml, 300ml or 500ml(the “Qualifying Products”),to be enjoyed responsibly, at any participating Pick n Pay outlet within South Africa, asset out in Annexure A(“Pick n Pay Outlets”)and swipe their Pick n Pay Smart Shopper Card for automatic entry into the Competition via Category4.
3.2.Entry is only valid through the se mediums and manner.
3.3.A Participant may enter the Competition as many times as he/she wishes across the various Categories detailed above.
3.4.Participants are liable for their own data and voice charges in respect of theCompetition participation as well as any verification process, if applicable.
4.Description of Prize
4.1.The prizes available to be won for each Category in this Competition are as follows(each, a“Prize”):
4.1.1.Category 1:1 of 5 trips to Mauritius for the winner and their partner/friend(each, an “Attendee”and collectively the “Attendees”)valued at approximately R121,000.00 (the “MauritiusTrip”)provided that the Attendees:(i) have valid passports on or before12 October 2022; (ii) each have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are able to provide the Promoter or its nominated agent with their vaccination certificate as proof there of; and (iii)have each taken a PCR test revealing a negative COVID-19test result within a specified number of hours from23 November2022.The Mauritius Trip includes, with the specific details thereof to be subject to the Promoter’s discretion, return international travel tickets for each Attendee to Mauritius;4 nights in Mauritius(including all accommodation costs);1x catamaran ride; 4x dinners at the beach for the Attendees; and a 1 x massage voucher for each Attendee, valid for the duration of theMauritiusTrip.
4.1.2.Category 2:1 of 30 Brutal Fruit branded luggage sets worth R4,500.00 each(the “Luggage Prize”):The Luggage Prize includes 1 x largeBrutal Fruit branded hard-shell suitcase, 1 x mediumBrutalFruit branded hard-shell suitcase, and 1 x smallBrutalFruit branded hard-shell suitcase;
4.1.3.Category 3:1 of 3 all-inclusive weekend trips to SunCity for the winner and an additional Attendee valued at approximately R45,000.00(the “SunCity Trip”).The Sun City trip includes1 for the Attendees; transportation of the Attendees, from their respective homes where they reside, to and from Sun City; access to Water land for each Attendee; and 1 x game drive for the Attendees. 1x hot air balloon ride for the Attendees; 1x massage voucher for each Attendee; accommodation for the Attendees; transportation of the Attendees, from their respective homes where they reside, to and from Sun City; access to Waterland for each Attendee; and 1x game drive for theAttendees.
4.1.4.Category 4:1 of 8wardrobe make over vouchers to redeem at any clothing retail store, within the Republic of South Africa, valued at approximately R30,000.00 each(the “Makeover Prize”).A winner must redeem theirMakeover Prize on or before 31 December 2023.
4.2.For the avoidance of doubt, all Attendees shall be deemed to be Participants under these Competition Rules and, accordingly, all provisions of these Competition Rules which apply to Participants shall also apply to the Attendees.Each Attendee of the Mauritius Trip and Suncity Trip will be required to sign and submit an indemnity form to the Promoter, to be provided by the Promoter.
4.3.The Promoter will pay for the cost of international travel for the Mauritius Trip, provided that the Attendees shall be responsible for obtaining all travel documents (including passports and/or visas)required for travel to and from Mauritius. The Attendees of the Mauritius Trip must on request provide the Promoter with a copy of their identity and/or travel documents in order for the Promoter to arrange the relevant flights. If an Attendee is sent home for bad behaviour as determined in the Promoter’s discretion, then the Promoter is entitled to recover the costs of travel from anAttendee.
4.4.ThePromoter will not be liable for any costs and expenses not expressly stated as part of aPrize.
4.5.No person may win more than one Prize in each Category in this Competition.
4.6.A winner may not transfer a Prize, in whole orin part, to any other person or exchange a Prize for an alternate Prize or for its cash value. A winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person.
5.Winner Selection and Notification
5.1.Winners will be selected by a random draw process. The draw will take place on or before 12 October 2022 and will consist of all valid entries received during the Competition Period in the relevant Category.
5.2.Winners will be notified by the Promoter via their cell phone number and also announced on the Promoter’s Website as well as on the official BrutalFruit social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, andInstagram)on or before 17October 2022. If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner, he/she will be disqualified and a substitute winner may at the discretion of the Promoter be selected, using the same winner selection process.
6. Winner Verification 6.1. A winner must be over the age of 18 years old and must comply with the Participant eligibility criteria set out in Competition Rule 1.1 and the requirements in these Competition Rules, which may be verified by or on behalf of the Promoter. A winner may be asked to provide a copy of his/her identity document/passport/driver’s license/proof of residential address/proof of vaccination/PCR test revealing a negative COVID-19 result in order to receive the Prizes. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct the validation and verification process via automated means and/or any other means that the Promoter may deem necessary, and by participating in the Competition, all Participants consent to the appropriate validation and verification measures that the Promoter may implement from time to time.
6.2. A Prize will only be awarded after successful verification of a winner. Failing successful verification of a winner, a substitute winner may be selected at the discretion of the Promoter.
6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of a winner to verify his/her eligibility and/or the validity of a winner’s entry. The Promoter may disqualify a winner if any fraud or cheating or related activity is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of an entry or otherwise falsifying data. Should the Promoter or its agent determine that an entry or Participant is invalid or ineligible, the relevant Participant shall not be entitled to receive a Prize and will not be compensated in any way.
7. Prize Forfeiture 7.1. A winner must communicate his/her full details to the Promoter or its agent as requested by the Promoter or its agent. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of a Prize.
7.2. If a winner is unable to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) a Prize then the entire Prize shall be forfeited. There will be no compensation, in any form, including, but not limited to monetary compensation and/or rescheduling, to any party, irrespective of the reason/s for the inability of that winner to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) a Prize.
7.3. Time permitting and subject to the Promoter’s approval, where a Prize is forfeited a substitute winner may be chosen in the same manner as an original winner was chosen.
8. General 8.1. Should the process for entry into the Competition or the Prize/s involve any alcoholic beverage, Participants shall ensure that it is enjoyed responsibly.
8.2. In the event of a dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.3.The timelines stated by the Promoter or its agent must be adhered to. Failing adherence to any timeline, at any stage, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of a Prize in its entirety with no compensation to any party by the Promoter.
8.4.Each Participant, by participating in the Competition, acknowledges, agrees and expressly consents to:
8.4.1.the Promotor processing the Participant’s personal information, including in the form of names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, during and after the course and scope of the Competition; and
8.4.2.the Promotor transferring the winning Participant’s personal information, including names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, to the relevant third parties in order to make any required travel, delivery or other arrangements, as may be applicable, during the course and scope of the Competition for utilisation of aPrize,
which processing and transfer shall take place in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 14 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and any other applicable law, and for the purpose of giving effect to the Competition.
8.5.With the exception ofCompetition Rule8.4above, the Promoter will not share any personal information with any third party except where such disclosure is necessary to enable the Promoter to provide, deliver or in any other way give effect to these Competition Rules and/or aPrize, where such disclosure is permitted by law and/or where consent to sharing personal information is obtained from the relevant Participant by the Promoter.The Promoter will comply with the relevant data protection legislation, including POPIA.
8.6.A Participant may submit a request athttps://www.sab.co.za/content/data-subject-request-0for thePromoter to:
8.6.1.correct or delete personal information about the Participant in the Promoter’s possession or under its control that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or obtained unlawfully; or
8.6.2.destroy or delete a record of personal information about the Participant that the Promoter is no longer authorised to retain.
8.7.The Promoter may make media announcements containing, or otherwise publish, the names and/or photographs of a winner without remuneration being payable to a winner, provided that the Promoter will not do so if a winner communicates in writing to the Promoter that he/she does not want his or her names or photographs to be contained in media announcements or otherwise published.
8.8.Should a Prize not be available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure aPrize, thePromoter reserves the right to substitute aPrize with another of equal value as determined in thePromoter’s sole discretion and subject to availability.No person will been titled to be compensated in any way in this instance by the Promoter.
8.9.The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs, expenses or other liabilities incurred by a winner which are not expressly contemplated as part of aPrize.
8.10.These Competition Rules may be amended by the Promoter on public notice at any time during theCompetition Period or thereafter. These Competition Rules will be interpreted by the Promoter only.
8.11.The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel this Competition in whole or in part. Any alterations, amendments or cancelations will be interpreted by the Promoter only. In the event of an alteration, amendment and/or cancellation, the Promoter will not compensate any individual for any reason whatsoever.
8.12.Each Participant indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoter, its associated companies, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of the Promoter and its associated companies, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever connected to or arising out of his/her participation in any way in thisCompetition or his/her receipt, participation, ownership and/or use of aPrize. This indemnity is not intended to exclude any liability for any person which cannot be excluded under the ConsumerProtection Act 68 of 2008.
8.13.The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, corrupted, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending an entry will not be accepted as proof of receipt of such entry. The Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this Competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.The Promoter is not responsible for lost, damaged or delayed entries asa result of any network, computer or cellphone hardware or software failure of any kind. No entry from an agent, third party, organized group or entry automatically generated by computer will be valid or accepted. An entry will only be valid and accepted if it complies with all entry instructions and requirements. Any form of network or systems manipulation, including but not limited to Botnets, Sim Farms, Trojans, SMS malware may not be used when entering theCompetition.
8.14.By participating in the Competition, each Participant gives the Promoter consent to: (i) market its products and campaigns to the Participant;(ii)conduct market research using personal information of and (iii) use the personal information and other details provided by the Participant during the Competition entry process for the purposes of facilitation of the Competition. A Participant may decline to provide or retract his/her consent by opting out via the opt out mechanism provided on the communications of the Promoter. the Participant which may be shared with third parties to enable the Promoter to develop appropriatemarketing strategies in respect of its customers; and (iii) use the personal information and other details provided by the Participant during the Competition entry process for the purposes of facilitation of theCompetition. A Participant may decline to provide or retract his/her consent by opting out via the optout mechanism provided on the communications of the Promoter.

WOMEN'S DAY ILLUSTRATION COMPETITION RULES

1. Introduction 1.1. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by The South African Breweries (Pty) Ltd (“Promoter”) and is open to all persons of 18 years or older and resident in South Africa, except for: (a) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter and their immediate families; (b) the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of any suppliers of any goods or services to the Promoter in respect of this Competition; (c) directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoter’s advertising and promotion agencies or associated companies; and (d) participating outlet owners and staff.
1.2. The rules set out in this document constitute the rules which will govern the Competition (“Competition Rules”).
1.3. Participation in the Competition by all entrants (“Participants”) constitutes acceptance of these Competition Rules.
2. Competition Period
This Competition will run from 9 August 2022 until 26 August 2022, both dates inclusive, or until the Promoter provides a public notice that the Competition has ended, whichever is earlier (“Competition Period”). Entries will only be accepted during the Competition Period.
3. Competition Entry Process
3.1. This Competition will take place on the Promoter’s Website (available at https://www.brutalfruit.co.za/) (the “Promoter’s Website”). In order to enter the Competition, a Participant must access the Promoter’s Website, and complete the entry form and provide the relevant information as prompted, which includes: (i) their name and surname; (ii) cell phone number; (iii) email address; (iv) date of birth (in the form of day/month/year); (v) gender (if applicable); (vi) occupation; (vii) confirmation as to whether they wish to receive further communications from the Promoter; and (viii) acceptance of the Promoter’s Terms and Conditions (which will be made available for Participants to access, as a hyperlink on the Promoter’s Website) to successfully enter the Competition and stand a chance to win a Prize (please see Competition Rule 4.1 below).
3.2. Entry is only valid through this medium and manner.
3.3. A Participant may only enter the Competition once.
3.4. Participants are liable for their own data and voice charges in respect of the Competition participation as well as any verification process, if applicable.
4. Description of Prize
4.1. The prize for this Competition is: (i) a digital image of themselves (a printed and framed illustration of themselves) (the "Digital Image"), provided that a winner has provided the Promoter or its nominated agent with a photograph of themselves (in an applicable file/format as determined by the Promoter or its nominated agent) as contemplated in Competition Rule 5.2 below; (ii) 1 (one) 6-pack of 275 ml non-returnable bottle (NRB) Brutal Fruit Spritzer, to be enjoyed responsibly; and (iii) 1 (one) 80ml ‘You Belong, The Fragrance by Brutal Fruit’ EDT perfume (the “Prize”, and together the “Prizes”).
4.2. There is a total of 5 (five) Prizes available to be won during Competition Period and each Prize has a value of approximately R3,000.00 and together the Prizes have a total value of approximately R15,000.
4.3. No person may win more than one Prize in this Competition.
4.4. A winner may not transfer a Prize, in whole or in part, to any other person or exchange a Prize for an alternate prize or for its cash value. A winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person.
4.5. The Prizes will be delivered by the Promoter or its nominated agent to a winner’s address within the Republic of South Africa on or before 12 September 2022.
4.6. The Promoter or its nominated agent will contact the winners to arrange delivery.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. The winners will be selected by a random draw process. The draw will take place on or before 29 August 2022 and will consist of all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
5.2. In order to receive the Digital Image, winners must provide a photograph of themselves to the Promoter or it nominated agent within a reasonable time after the winners have been notified by the Promoter, or its nominated agent (please Competition Rule 5.3 below) which shall be used to create the Digital Image.
5.3. The winners will be notified by the Promoter, or its nominated agent via email on or around 30 August 2022. If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner, he/she will be disqualified and a substitute winner may at the discretion of the Promoter be selected, using the same winner selection process.
6. Winner Verification
6.1. A potential winner must be over the age of 18 (eighteen) years old and must comply with the Participant eligibility criteria set out in Competition Rule 1.1 and the requirements in these provide a copy of his/her identity document/passport/driver’s license/proof of residential address/proof of purchase, if applicable, in order to be eligible to receive the Prizes. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct the validation and verification process via automated means and/or any other means that the Promoter may deem necessary, and by participating in the Competition, all Participants consent to the appropriate validation and verification measures that the Promoter may implement from time to time.

6.2.A Prize will only be awarded by the Promoter and a winner will only be regarded as a winner after the verification process set out in these Competition Rules has been completed to the satisfaction of the Promoter. Failing successful verification of a winner, a substitute winner may be selected at the discretion of the Promoter.
6.3.The Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of a winner to verify his/her eligibility and/or the validity of a winner’s entry. The Promoter may disqualify a winner if any fraud or cheating or related activity is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of an entry or otherwise falsifying data. Should the Promoter or its agent determine that an entry or Participant is invalid or ineligible, the relevant Participant shall not be entitled to receive a Prize and will not be compensated in any way.
7.Prize Forfeiture
7.1.A winner must communicate his/her full details to the Promoter, or its agent as requested by thePromoter or its agent. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of a Prize.
7.2.If a winner is unable to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) a Prize then the entire Prize shall be forfeited. There will be no compensation, in any form, including, but not limited to monetary compensation and/or rescheduling, to any party, irrespective of the reason/s for the inability of that winner to attend, receive or utilise (as applicable) a Prize.
7.3.Time permitting and subject to the Promoter’s approval, where a Prize is forfeited a substitute winner may be chosen in the same manner as an original winner was chosen.
8.General
8.1.Should the process for entry into the Competition or the Prize/s involve any alcoholic beverage,Participants shall ensure that it is enjoyed responsibly.
8.2.To the extent that any intellectual property right/s arise asa result of or through the creation and/or submission by a Participant of content or participation in the Prize, including without limitation any Prize, such intellectual property right/s will vest in the Promoter and the Participant hereby waives any associated right/s. To the extent such rights have vested in a Participant, the Participant hereby cedes, assigns and transfers (by way of present and future cession, assignment and transfer) to Promoter such rights and undertakes to do such things, takes such steps and sign such documents as are necessary to give effect to such cession, assignment and transfer. Each Participant indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoter from and against any and all claims, actions, legal proceedings, losses damages and expenses (including attorney's fees and expenses) arising as a result of or in connection with any actual or alleged infringement of any intellectual property rights of a third party arising from entry in the Competition and/or the Promoter’s use of any content, including without limitation any pictures, videos, drawings or other creative works, created pursuant to the Participant’s entry in the Competition.

8.3.In the event of a dispute, thePromoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.4.The timelines stated by the Promoter or its agent must be adhered to. Failing adherence to any timeline, at any stage, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of a Prize in its entirety with no compensation to any party by the Promoter.
8.5.Each Participant, by participating in the Competition, acknowledges, agrees and expressly consents to:
8.5.1.the Promoter processing the Participant’s personal information, including in the form of names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, during and after the course and scope of the Competition; and
8.5.2.the Promoter transferring the winning Participant’s personal information, including names, telephone numbers, identity numbers and/or email addresses, to the relevant third parties in order to make any required travel, delivery or other arrangements, as may be applicable, during the course and scope of the Competition for utilisation of a Prize, which processing and transfer shall take place in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 14 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and any other applicable law, and for the purpose of giving effect to the Competition.
8.6.With the exception ofCompetition Rule8.5above, the Promoter will not share any personal information with any third party except where such disclosure is necessary to enable the Promoter to provide, deliver or in any other way give effect to these Competition Rules and/or aPrize, where such disclosure is permitted by law and/or where consent to sharing personal information is obtained from the relevant Participant by the Promoter.The Promoter will comply with the relevant data protection legislation, including POPIA.
8.7.A Participant may submit a request athttps://www.sab.co.za/content/data-subject-request-0for thePromoter to:
8.7.1.correct or delete personal information about theParticipant in the Promoter’s possession or under its control that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or obtained unlawfully; or
8.7.2.destroy or delete a record of personal information about the Participant that the Promoter is no longer authorised to retain.
8.8.The Promoter may make media announcements containing, or otherwise publish, the names and/or photographs of a winner without remuneration being payable to a winner, provided that the Promoter will not do so if a winner communicates in writing to the Promoter that he/she does not want his or her names or photographs to be contained in media announcements or otherwise published.
8.9.Should a Prize not be available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure aPrize, thePromoter reserves the right to substitute aPrize with another of equal value as determined in thePromoter’s sole discretion and subject to availability.No person will entitled to be compensated in anyway in this instance by the Promoter.
8.10.The Promoter will not be responsible for any costs, expenses or other liabilities incurred by a winner which are not expressly contemplated as part of aPrize.
8.11.These Competition Rules may be amended by the Promoter on public notice at any time during theCompetition Period or thereafter. These Competition Rules will be interpreted by the Promoter only.
8.12.The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel this Competition in whole or in part. Any alterations, amendments or cancelations will be interpreted by the Promoter only. In the event of an alteration, amendment and/or cancellation, the Promoter will not compensate any individual for any reason whatsoever.
8.13.Each Participant indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoter, its associated companies, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of the Promoter and its associated companies, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever connected to or arising out of his/her participation in any way in thisCompetition or his/her receipt, participation, ownership and/or use of a Prize. This indemnity is not intended to exclude any liability for any person which cannot be excluded under the ConsumerProtection Act 68 of2008.
8.14.Winners in this Competition are excluded from winning any further promotional competitions run by the Promoter for a 24-month period after winning.
8.15.A Participant shall not post or provide the Promoter, or its nominated agent, content that is of an immoral, scandalous or illegal nature likely to have an adverse effect on the reputation of the Promoter including, but not limited to, the underage drinking of minors, drinking while pregnant, abusive or sexual behaviour, and/or the participation in dangerous activities. Any such entries will be automatically rejected by the Promoter.
8.16.The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, corrupted, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending an entry will not be accepted as proof of receipt of such entry. The Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this Competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.The Promoter is not responsible for lost, damaged or delayed entries asa result of any network, computer or cellphone hardware or software failure of any kind. No entry from an agent, third party, organized group or entry automatically generated by computer will be valid or accepted. An entry will only be valid and accepted if it complies with all entry instructions and requirements. Any form of network or systems manipulation, including but not limited to Botnets, Sim Farms, Trojans, SMS malware may not be used when entering the Competition.
8.17.By participating in the Competition, each Participant gives the Promoter consent to: (i) market its products and campaigns to the Participant;(ii)conduct market research using personal information of the Participant which may be shared with third parties to enable the Promoter to develop appropriate marketing strategies in respect of its customers; and (iii) use the personal information and other details provided by the Participant during the Competition entry process for the purposes of facilitation of the Competition. A Participant may decline to provide or retract his/her consent by opting out via the op tout mechanism provided on the communications of the Promoter.
